Playdate with Pace!

On Tuesday, Lanie enjoyed an visit from her friend Pace. Fain and I attempted to enjoy a mom's lunch together, but these days, the girls think that they must be a part of every meal - so we had to share!

Lanie and Parker - It's Playtime!

Future Camden County Cheerleader!

On Saturday, Lanie and I went to the Cheerleading Competition at Camden County High School. Lanie had so much fun! She was amazed by the girls dancing and tumbling, and she loved the music! We only made it through the Middle School and Junior Varsity Competitions, it was a little too long for her to sit through without a nap. Needless to say, Lanie was the star of the show and got lots of attention from everyone, no matter where they were from. They all wanted to see the Future Little Wildcat Cheerleader!

LANIE PLAYING IN THE BATHTUB

Here's a practice video of Lanie's bath... there's not a lot of action on this one. I really wanted to try out our new camera and see the quality of the videos. Lanie doesn't seem to want to talk much once the camera turns on.... we'll keep trying!

LANIE'S SNACK TIME AND CAMDYN'S HORSIE

Lanie is enjoying her Gerber cookie, while Camdyn has found something new to play "horsie" on.

September 19, 2007 - The Update!

Another one of Lanie's favorite toys.... her Elephant that her cousins Lee and Georgia gave to her! She is really starting to make some noise in the last few weeks. She definitely has "MaMa" and "DaDa" down... but we are not really sure that she knows what they mean, just that it gets her a lot of attention when she says it. She is doing wonderful with her eating, and is now eating 3 meals a day, as well as an afternoon snack which is on most days more than mommy gets! : ) She doesn't have many preferences as far as fruit and veggies go, she'll eat pretty much anything. She is now trying Nilla Wafers, Gerber Banana cookies, and Gerber Biter Biscuits, along with anything else that you put on her tray. She's pretty good at feeding herself too, and making a big mess! As far as on the floor... at sitting up, she's a pro and she'll sit up to play for long periods of time, without any help. On her tummy she is pushing up with her arms really well, and is making some strides with getting those knees up under her - she just can't get it all together quite yet! She is sleeping from 7:30pm until 7am most every night, along with 2 (and sometimes 3) naps a day. So far, mommy and daddy have no complaints... we are really amazed, and enjoy watching her grow and change every day!

Here's Lanie and Lucie... her favorite doll!

September 16, 2007 - Lanie and Camdyn

This weekend, Lanie enjoyed a visit from her cousin Camdyn. On Sunday, Kylie and I took the girls over to Granny Dot's for some pool time! Camdyn is a little water bug, and wants so badly to swim on her own. She doesn't want any help from her mommy! Lanie is getting to where she wants to splash a lot, and is enjoying her Ladybug float, she kicks her feet and jumps up and down squealing the whole time. We had a great time, and can't wait until BOTH of the girls are walking, they are already hard to keep up with!

More of our Vacation!

Coolin' it By the Pool!

Lanie and Daddy in the clear waters of the Gulf - Lanie enjoyed the salt water just as much as she did the pool - she even liked the waves, although they are not quite as big as the ones on our beaches around here!

Lanie's first trip to Sea World!

At Sea World - waiting on Shamu....
Lanie's Favorite Show - The Shamu Show! She squealed the entire time - waving her hands, and jumping up and down~ it was so much fun! I'm not sure if the people around us enjoyed watching Lanie or Shamu the most!
This was a well deserved nap - after a long day at Sea World!

August 25, 2007

Lanie is ready for a fun-filled day at Sea World! We drove through Orlando on our way down to Tampa, and stayed the night at the Renaissance Hotel at Sea World. It was very nice and convenient, as it was just right across from the entrance into Sea World. It was terribly hot and humid that day, but we were determined not to let it spoil our fun!
